Micro-breaks are your friend: Set a timer. Every 20-30 minutes, get up and walk around, even if it’s just to the water cooler. This is crucial for managing varicose veins. 

Elevate, elevate, elevate: Whenever you can, get those legs up! Prop them on a box under your desk, use an ottoman at home – anything to help that blood flow back to your heart. 

Toe flexes are sneaky powerful: While you’re sitting, point and flex your toes. It engages your calf muscles and gets the circulation going, which is great for varicose veins. 

Lunch walks are a must: Ditch the desk lunch and take a brisk walk. Fresh air and movement? Yes, please! This can really help if you’re prone to this problem.

EXCESS Salt is the enemy: Make sure that your sodium levels are in check. Too much salt makes you retain water, and that makes varicose veins worse.
